My best decades so far have been my 30's and my 50's (which are about to come to an end in a few months).

My 30th was wonderful. My loved ones threw me a surprise party and managed to COMPLETELY surprise me. I was delighted and humbled.

This year was 34. Less wonderful. In fact, it was pretty lousy. No one notices 34 except the person adding another number. *sigh* Great, now I'm depressed.

I remember my 34th. 2004 it was.

I had a bad migraine headache that day, and slept through most of it.

My friends took me out to dinner the next day.
