IT Crowd 3?

Can't you bloody people make your own damned shows?

From what I've seen of it, you can keep it.

Why visit a thread for a show you don't like in the first place?

I had never heard of this show until this thread.
People seem to have a problem with me saying "you can keep it" when up above someone said it was a "dumb premise". You do realize that not everyone has the same opinions, right?:wtf:

Over reaction much? I just asked you a simple question. Take a tranq and calm down.

I'm very calm and I'll thank you to keep the snide comments to yourself.

The only difference is that we buy their shows by the shedload and don't try to 're-do' them.

Because people want to see them, and you can't improve them.

Yes, well, considering your abysmal track record with remaking our shows I doubt anyone can credibly argue that either side "improves" the other.

"Days Like These?"

Coupling? Red Dwarf? The abysmal molestation that you call "Life on Mars US"?

So bad they're totally changing it before they air it. And I don't know if this is a good thing, or a bad thing...

The executive producer of the American remake of Life On Mars has gained permission from the BBC to change the "unsatisfying" predicament of Sam Tyler.

Sci Fi Wire reports that Josh Appelbaum made the admission during a television press tour in California, saying: "We talked to the creators of the BBC show and asked if we could change the mythology of Sam Tyler, and we got permission to do it."

Explaining why he removed the ambiguity of the character's predicament, Appelbaum said: "With this mythological element to it, it's not just a cop show, and if he was ultimately just in a coma or it was all a dream, it felt a bit unsatisfying. So we made it a deeper mystery."

"With this mythological element to it, it's not just a cop show, and if he was ultimately just in a coma or it was all a dream, it felt a bit unsatisfying. So we made it a deeper mystery."

So they're still completely missing the point then.

Yeah, they are, but in a way trying to separate themselves may be a good thing. If somewhat making it pointless that they're even calling it Life on Mars.
