Is Titan-A a refit of original Titan?

Sean's design Luna class is Cannon.. Period. Lower decks IS cannon. Now are the ships 1 to 1 accurate? Naah. But it's about 95% so no.. The Titan A is absolutely not the same design as the Luna. So except for some parts.. Its anew ship. As designated by the A and new ship class name. The refit of the original 1701 was still a Connie.

NO NO NO......people keep throwing this Canon BS around like EVERYTHING IN LOWER DECKS IS CANON.....it's not. The creator of the show basically said it's . The show is an EXAGGERATED version of actual events. In other words it's not wholly canon. Again Riker would never act like a freaking moron during a battle. Just one example.

Canon just means it's an official production by the owners of the IP and not some tie in material like comics or novels. Lower Decks is canon and everything in it is canon.

If we imagine a refit is stripping the hull, splitting the bare saucer and engineering off and building around them only to bring them back together fitting inside a new form, just about every class could transform into most of the others.

The only reason we knew little of the practice is because they've lost nearly every Enterprise. Speaking of, does anyone think there could've been pieces of the NX-01 inside the Connie?

They are all canon.
But clearly there are continuity issues for both characters and ships as presented in different shows and movies.
We all accept that Star Trek 2009 Kirk is Kirk, SNW Enterprise is the same ship as in TOS, Chekov apparently met Khan in TOS and apparently Riker had a few whacky adventures during LDs.

Ok. Canon within itself and Paramount's properties. But pertaining to live action Trek. No. Some elements??? Sure. Like ship designs, clothing etc. But again Riker would never act like that during a battle. Lower Decks is its own thing.

Per the creators themselves Lower Decks is an exaggeration of in universe events. So, the events happened, but not in such an exaggerated, comedic, way.

Well, given the ship design is the only thing that's relevant to this thread...

Isn’t it stated by someone (I forget who) that the “refit” is a reference to the interior frame of the Luna Class still being in there somewhere? It’s a really spurious explanation but it’s one nonetheless.

FWIW I’m not a fan of the design. A redesign of a Constitution Class that bears absolutely no relevance to the show these characters are from? Hm.

Tobias Richters Luna Class mesh that Picard DID use in season 2's fleet scenes, which Luna Classes were part of IN Live Action..
Some quick flybys he did. and honestly, better than whats on screen, made 10 years ago.
