is this re-used footage in DS9?

In truth there is so much footage from various Star Trek productions of Klingon Birds of Prey exploding why would you need to keep reusing the one from Generations?

They didn't keep re-using it, they re-used it one time. (Not that I'm a fan of obvious re-use shots.)

ST7 re-used the ST6 shot because it was the only movie quality shot of a BOP exploding they had.

The exterior shot of the BOP exploding is from ST6, but the interior shots (that Jester mentioned) of explosions and a Klingon getting blown up/out that DS9 re-used comes from Generations.
No, they also reused some of the interior shots as well. I recall that the Klingon running away from the camera and falls onto his rear as he gets blown out into space being from ST6.

Generations also reused footage of the Excelsior at warp for the one shot of the Enterprise-B at warp. (Of course in Generations, when LaForge is evacuating engineering, I've always wondered if the scene was a reuse of the very similar scene in Yesterday's Enterprise. When I've watched both scenes one right after the other, aside from the uniforms (YE has the higher collar uniforms of the alternate universe) the two scenes appear to have been shot exactly the same.)

Yeah, Geordi slams that cupboard door, the coolant leak starts, he yells at everyone to evacuate and then does an exciting dive and roll to get under the isolation door.

Same director of course!

They reused the shot of Kang's BoP set exploding from the inside as well.

I'm curious as to where these interior shots are in Star Trek 6. Neither the Enterprise or Excelsior lands a single shot on the BOP for the entire fight until the end. Kirk fires, the torpedo tracks the BOP, Chang watches, the torpedo hits, the BOP decloaks when hit, Sulu says "Target that explosion and fire", Excelsior fires. Kirk says "Fire!", Enterprise fires. The BOP bucks under heavy fire in a wide shot, then explodes in a closer shot. We cut to the assassin down on the surface. There are no interior shots after the BOP is hit with the exception of Chang in front of the viewscreen.

Ah I was wrong. The interior shots from Generations are reused in DS9.

That's what I was thinking of.

Ok I just double check and those shots aren’t there.

However, at 27:32 in ST6 (special edition NTSC DVD) there is a shot of a Klingon running from a fire, through Kronos 1 just after the ship is hit with a torpedo that I recall seeing reused elsewhere.

Quite possibly. [Has a quick look at it.] ...But it's not the footage we were talking about. :)
