Now, if only I could afford a subscription, instead of having to take my chances with the newsstand...

Can you not pre-order at the newsstand? (In Australia, we have "paper shops" where magazines and newspapers are sold - I realise that's not a particularly US concept). That's the only way I could rely on getting the ST issue of "Wired".

Specialist comic shops should also be able to order and hold an issue for you, especially if you make it a standing order.

Thank You Paul I 'm really glad that you'll be doing articles about Enterprise's tenth anniversary. Also I hope you'll be able to get your special interview for your Enterprise 10 th anniversary special in issue 38..I look forward to seeing the new lists of books for 2011/2012.

If I still had an active account at my local Mile High Comics store, I could add it to the hold slot, but the money's too uneven these days to even think about starting that up again.

Truth be told, my comment was more of a slam on the cost of a subscription to this magazine; it's a bit steep.
