I play just on the console. I'm not really into online gaming and haven't been seen I used to play Return to Castle Wolfenstein and MOH online. Decent game, but I agree, we need a new trek simulator for the console.
^^^ Maybe will get something other than the DAC game soon. Now that Trek is seen as mainstream again maybe will get a better class of console game. They could take the basic idea of Legacy and fix the issues it would go along way to a decent game. Lets start for instance at either having planets that have atmospheres you actually go into or just leave them out all together. That would a place to start.

Thing is, much as I like this game, I'm extremely POOR, and I don't have 1500 bucks to blow on a computer system powerful enough to handle a dozen extremely large levels saturated by endless swaths of retarded blue clouds that serve no purpose whatsoever except to lag my screen to 0.2 frames per second.
About every three weeks temptation pops up and I play the game for about thirty minutes, then get pissed off by how horribly slow it runs and turn it off.

Can't afford a 360. I got three kids and live paycheck to paycheck.

I just got it, not exactly the greatest game, infact so far it is rather craptastic, but I was on the online pay and found one other person and proceeded to get my ass handed to me. lol
I'm getting my butt handed to me by the Klingons right now. lol
I finally just captured the "Bird of Pray" and beat that mission. lol
I guess my tactics of hit and run were sound, I just had to protect my older unshielded ships a little more and maintain my fleet hit-n-runs.

Good job on the BoP mission. What were your other ships? ENT era? I found that I could do it pretty well if I used the Enterprise to tow the bird and then used my other ship(s) to distract the Klingon attackers. Also, what difficulty are you at?
