iron sky teaser trailer -- nazis in space

^ It depends on context. If you show them in the proper historic context or if they're part of a work of art, it's allowed. I imagine it might be hard though to convince German authorities that either of those applies in the case of Iron Sky... ;)

Holy shit, I *so* want to see this.

Not just because it looks really cool (I hope they don't play up the comedy angle too much - I want this to be a basically serious flick!), but the schoolteacher at the beginning is SO smokin' hot.

I would have hoped for more serious steam punk with even the slightest chance the Nazi's might actually win. It is revisionist history after all and would play nicely into a Fallout Movie.

oh well, making fun of nazi's from space is good too.

People want this to be a serious movie?

I have no idea how you would actually make this movie not suck ass without it being campy. Well, maybe it would be possible to write the script, but it would never get made.

It's Nazis from the dark side of the moon come back to invade Earth. <--- how do you take this seriously.

I am so excited for this film. I hope that it gets a wide theatrical release in the US.

Also, loving the jokes so far:

Well, maybe not *totally* serious, but neither should it be a slapstick farce like Airplane!. I hope it's not quite that over-the-top.

Besides, aren't movies like this usually all the funnier *because* of taking themselves seriously?

I'm probably the only person who thinks this should have been the follow-on from Let's Kill Hitler...

Wow, so it really got made. I remember seeing the first teaser trailer years ago. I missed my chance to see it early, it seems. It is the secon best selling movie at the Berlinale for now, and it's difficult to get any tickets for popular films there, anyway. I guess I'll have to wait till April to see it.
