iron sky teaser trailer -- nazis in space

The First IRON SKY Stills Arrive!

Long awaited Finnish science fiction comedy Iron Sky is now in production in Germany and, true to form, the directors and producers are blogging up a storm about the process. Want to know how to make a movie about a secret base of Nazis hidden on the moon since the end of WWII and do it on a budget? Well, they're happy to tell you with a steady stream of news, commentary and behind the scenes footage arriving on the blog in a steady stream.

But today we got something not behind the scenes at all. No, we got the scenes themselves int he form of the first two actual production stills from the movie.

In 1945 NAZIs went to the moon...

In 2018 they are coming back!!!

Pretty damn lame. :lol:

However what took somebody so long to do a NAZIS IN SPAAAAAACE! movie?

So Roswell wasn't aliens but a crashed Nazi spacecraft...it all makes sense now.

Too bad it takes place in the future, so I assume that few of the Nazis are originals, so to speak. That could make seein 'em fragged a good deal less fun, if they're just brainwashed kids...

They flew to the moon in 1945. For all we know they cryo-froze a few of the 'originals' too ;)

I remember seeing these guys when they came to Sydney back in June for a convention. Saw some previews, when they did a Q&A.

The third teaser trailer, with some actual footage from the film itself, has been posted to Youtube:

Looks very cool and interesting:bolian::cool:
Actually better than I hoped for, actually:)...

It looks really good for an independent project. It is supposed to get a world-wide release, I just hope that my local theater gets it.

About time. Jeez, this things been in production since what, the mid-90's?

I do have to wonder though, how are they going to premiere this in Berlin? I thought showing swastikas in Germany was illegal?

It is. Nazi symbols usually get treated, as if seeing them magically transforms one into a nazi.

Movies are the exception, i never heard of any movie (with the exception of propaganda-films made in nazi-germany) having problems with showing nazi-symbols. If the same standard would apply there, the first and third Indiana Jones movie would probably been forbidden here.
