If he's a mercenary, the character is basically identical to Whiplash, the only difference being that Whiplash doesn't wear an armor which 1) allows us to see Mickey Rourke's face and 2) makes him different from the first movie's villain.Why not just make him a Mercenary like they have with Titanium Man in the comics these days (heck, why not just use Titanium Man? He fits Rourke better)?
