IPod Question/Problem

My friend recently burned me some Coldplay music onto a CD. I inserted it into my computer but Windows Media Player wouldn't let me rip it and the CD didn't even show up on iTunes. The files are MP3 music files. I want to put them on my iPod, but I don't have any idea how since the CD is a no show on iTunes and I seemingly can't rip the files. FYI, the iPod is a second gen Nano. I'd appreciate any help.

If the files are MP3s you don't need to rip them. If the CD isn't showing up in iTunes, copy the files to your hard drive and add them from there.

This reads to me like it could be a question asking for help with music piracy, which would be against the board rules, so I'm going to close this thread.

If you hadn't mentioned the artist it might have been okay.
