Intrepid Update

We had a pretty successful weekend shoot, kicking off our new film, Echoes. Pretty exhausted to be honest, and while we had some organisational issues the first day, we really hit our stride on day two, finishing exactly on schedule this evening.

Hopefully this is a good sign of things to come. :)

A fan production that can meet a shooting schedule is a rare thing, indeed! Well done, sir! Congratulations to you and your crew!
 
Surprisingly, we’ve actually just passed the 50% mark on our crowdfunder in just over a week. I am surprised and grateful in equal measure. Don’t know if anyone here has shared or donated, but if you have, thank you. :)
 
Our crowdfunder has, not surprisingly, slowed down a lot, but we’re currently sitting at 70%. Which is really quite phenomenal. Thanks again to anyone here who might have chipped in, it is appreciated. :)
 
In other news almost all of the remaining FX work has been delivered for A Treasure for the Ages, and Dylan Feeney, who composed our theme, has begun work on the score. Which means we’re well on course for our scheduled premiere at Edinburgh Comic Con.

Just wanted to say thank you to anyone who may have contributed to our Indiegogo campaign, we met and slightly exceeded our target. :)

Pandemics permitting, we’ll be shooting the exteriors for this next film in the Summer. :)
 
We had planned to premiere our next film, A Treasure for the Ages at Edinburgh Comic Con a few weeks ago. Unfortunately the convention was postponed due to the current pandemic.

We've given some thought about when we could best release the film, especially given work has understandably slowed due to current events. We have tentatively decided to take our time and finish up those last touches. Dylan Feeney is still working on the score as time permits, and I'm still chipping away at colour correction. We also have a few lines we should probably ADR before final release, unfortunately we haven't been able to do these because of the lockdown.

So long story short, I'm sorry to say we won't be releasing A Treasure for the Ages this month. It will be released before the year is out, but I'm not too keen to commit to a particular schedule given the amount of uncertaintly right now.

In the meantime however, I thought everyone might enjoy a sneak peek at the film's teaser. Please be aware this may not be quite final, and it's somewhat lower resolution than the finished film will be.
