Here's something I thought might be interesting. Why, I don't know. lol

Here's a list of how long it's taken to transcribe each movie:

TMP: Feb. 3 - Feb. 24, 2009 21 days.
TWOK: Jan. 14 - Feb. 1, 2009 18 days.
TSFS: Feb. 24 - Mar. 9, 2009 13 days.
TVH: Mar. 9 - Apr. 3, 2009 25 days.
TFF: Apr. 3 - Apr. 19, 2009 16 days.
TUC: Apr. 19 - May 3, 2009 14 days.
GEN: May 3 - May 15, 2009 12 days.
FC: May 15 - June 6, 2009 22 days.

Now, get this!

INS: June 7 - July 30, 2009 53 days!! Makes me wonder if that's either a) A testament to the relative unpopularity of Insurrection, or b) Maybe some folks just been busier with the summer?

Cause I guess you could comment on Star Trek V's relative unpopularity as well as Generations, but they got transcribed pretty fast. I dunno, what does anyone else think?

^I guess it wasn't my imagination. It certainly felt like we were taking longer with this one. Personally, Insurrection is my second favorite movie (behind STVI).

Anyway, cheers. I look forward to the next one. (These movie threads are the fast track to promotion. I was a lowly Lt. JG when I jumped in with STVI.)

I Myself am much less familiar with the lines in this one, so that slowed me down. Also, my work hours changed so that when I am able to post a lot is usually when less of you are on it looks like.

Congratulations, everyone! Yeah, I noticed to that we were a bit slower on this one. Like LeadHead, I had to consult a transcript of the movie much more than the other ones. But if the slowness was a testament to Insurrection's unpopularity, let's see what happens when I start Nemesis...

Personally, I found the dialogue more dull and repetitive in this one than in previous films. With the TOS films and First Contact, I could read one or two lines and know exactly where we were in the film. With this one, I could read a page or two of blathering between Dougherty and Picard or Ru'afo and still not be positive where we were.

I thought that singing scene would never end.

Congrats to everyone for toughing it out, though!

It sure did.

I didn't play during that song, and it felt like I checked the thread for 3 or 4 days waiting for it to finish.

Shame I didn't discover this thread until long after the song.

I could've helped out a bit with that. I practically memorized the darn thing!

But then, I'd seen the movie so many times....

So...when should we expect Nemesis?
