Incredible Hulk to end

^^^
Nah, no offense taken. I just point it out when I'm leaning towards waiting for the TPB. While I know this has been standard practice for a solid decade or more some books are worse about pacing which fully exposes it imo.
Moon Knight was fairly obvious and I admit only buying it to support the character, Hulk doesn't "need" my money in such an obvious way.
On the other hand, each issue of Aquaman I've felt has had a good balance of story/action while moving things forward. That was book that like MK I was getting out of support but it's a win/win thus far.

I think they just need to reevaluate the writing. If a story can be told in 3/4 issues then do so and combine the next TPB into one with 7-8 issues and charge accordingly. Some writers are just laid bare and while I don't think Jason Aaron is one of those...ah, heck I'm rambling now. I think you get what I'm saying, right?

I do. I don't think it will change any time soon though because of the mentality of the companies right now and of course sales. I did like the issue though so I'll disagree with you on that issue :)

Ground Breaking isn't enough for a character that''s supposed to be World Breaking.

Though it was fine.

The situation which Hulk found himself in was a cross between when he was living in the savage land and when the Thing went to live with the Moleman for the 25th anniversary shortly before issue 300 of the Fantastic Four.

Oh man I'm really enjoying this book. The art is great and I'm not really an Marc Silvestri fan either. I just like the whole concept and the characters that have been introduced. I'll be following this one. Jason Aaron is fast become a new favourite writer of mine.

I've loved Marc ever since I saw a piss soaked Fire hydrant clubbing a dog to death during Inferno.

It's just the little things.

There's been a bit of a controversy about the new Hulk comic, apparentally it had eleven different artists on the second issue and Marc is leaving after issue #3, possibly due to health reasons as he was hospitalized recently.

Like the title character, seems this book can't really catch a break...

Also despite relaunching the Green Hulk title, Marvel seems to want to push the Red Hulk, who seems to be appearing in a ton of stuff such as the spider titles.

From what I hear, Silvestri was only ever hired to draw the first three issues (and is "almost finished" drawing issue three), but Marvel evidently didn't mention this when publicizing the relaunch. Whilce Portacio is scheduled to draw # 4.

Yeah, that drives me nuts. I've never seen the appeal of the Red Hulk, whose persona has always come off as a thinly-veiled copy of the Grey Hulk.

Red Hulk really didn't get any character development till Lobe left. when Jeff Parker took over he did/is doing some great stuff with the character. you actually start to feel kinda sorry for Ross.

I actually have dug Red Hulk/General Ross. His personality and how he has been portrayed makes sense to me given who he is and how much hatred that character has had inside of him, not just for Bruce but internal anger. I picked up Avenging Spider-Man out of curiosity and am probably going to continue with it having no idea that it is essentially Marvel's new Marvel Team Up book and Red Hulk was pretty fun in it. He's been an interesting addition to the Avengers as well.

I thought the Red Hulk when he debuted might actually turn out to be Gray Hulk/Fixit somehow pulled out of Banner ala what they've now down with the new series in separating Banner/Hulk.
I was prepared for Joe Fixit to have been separated from Banner and altered due to events in WWH. I mentioned that at the Marvel boards and was told that was stupid and yet here we are with a new Hulk series and the two are separate. Not much more of a stretch to say Gray could then go Red.

Anyway with the prolonged revelation of who Red Hulk was the title felt like a parody and as noted it wasn't till Loeb left that Red Hulk finally came into his own. I also picked up Avenging Spiderman and am going to read the first arc at least.

Last time Joe showed up it was in the Red Hulk book I think, where the Hulk went back to Vegas for a bit and fought Wendigos and some Avengers.

I remember that Joe was used a lot in the early 00s before the Bruce Jones run. The Defenders spin-off the Order (Not to be confused with a later series) also used him.
