I suspect he was fairly well known among the Enterprise crew and Starfleet top brass.Someone knew he was called Ambassador Spock and served on the Enterprise and Enterprise-A (before such a ship had been built)

- Cox was able to reuse elements of this novel in his later Pocket TOS contribution, No Time Like the Past. Cox estimates that a third of the later novel is comprised of reworked components of this novel, in which Seven of Nine takes the role of the time traveler from the future that Spock would have. [3]
i do not think anybody else in the kelvin verse knew about who knew that the old spock is from the future because i think there is a strict rule in starfleet and the federation about time travel
well im just saying, that besides Kirk, young kirk, Scotty and his little sidekick, there might have been a few of the surviving Vulcans that probably figured it that Old Spock is the from the future.i do not think anybody else in the kelvin verse knew about who knew that the old spock is from the future because i think there is a strict rule in starfleet and the federation about time travel
well not right away for cripe sakeHe also walked around pretty freely around Starfleet at the end of ST09. I imagine that his identity was known.

Doesn't matter. Your question has been answered. Lots of people knew Old Spock was from the future.
LOL. only Kirk, Scotty and young spock and Scotty's little sidekick. Just those only knew old spock being from the future. word wouldnt have gone around that quickly unless scotty got real drunk and blabbed to whatever was left of the Vulcans

Admiral Marcus and Section 31 seemingly did NOT know in Into Darkness.
It also wasn't Marcus's focus. A Vulcan from the future would simply decline to speak fully and any threat would impact fragile relationships.Admiral Marcus and Section 31 seemingly did NOT know in Into Darkness. I'd imagine nabbing Ambassador Spock and learning all his juicy future knowledge would've been a top priority. It might also have given him the hint that Khan was bad news.
