ever see American Zombie? Neither have a lot of people.

Anyway, it involves zombies who can't remember who they were and face discrimination and prejudice. There's an organization called Zombie Advocacy Group who goes to bat for there folks and gets them jobs and sets them up with housing and legal assistance.
