Before, I was all for not finding out much about this movie. But after the delay was announced I need more info to satisfy me.

I think the control of information is proper, especially given the fact the movie has been pushed back now. Almost a year and a half before release, we actually know quite a bit already. I remember a time when at this point all we'd have is a title, maybe a teaser poster and a photo still from the movie set and that would be enough to send convention goers into fits of "oohs" and "ahs". I'd like to return to that time especially considering the nostalgic appeal of this film. The info will come out, stills will be leaked etc. all in due time. For now, I'll focus on other stuff like Iron Man and The Dark Knight.
