I'm done with Discovery

I'm seriously pissed at what they've done with Lorca, but I'm not going anywhere. I'll be rooting for him to be next Emporer of the Terran Empire.

There will be something of a charisma vortex when we get back home and he's not around, though

I'm so surprised how well the show is received on here. The last few episodes have been about as far away from Star Trek as can be. No storyline, just plot twists that you can see coming a mile off, lots and lots of killing people in gruesome ways and wooden dialogue. Oh and more plot twists, cause that's interesting right!​

Hey I sat through the 1st Season of TNG in 1987 (You want to REALLY talk about a crap season?) ST: D is nowhere near as bad as that was.

I was going to create a new thread, but this is probably a good place to post this:

I am not done with Discovery. For sure I will be watching the next episode on Sunday, and probably every episode that comes after.

I am also not done with Game of Thrones, Westworld, The Orville, The Good Place & The Big Bang Theory.

I am done with Killjoys, The Expanse, and every other TV show not mentioned above;

There's not much of a point to this thread, and it's certainly not conducive to productive discussion, just invective. If you're going to stop watching the show, just stop watching. If you have criticisms of the show, there are numerous episode and show threads in which you can express your opinion, or you can even start a new one that's actually about discussing the show instead of making a grandstanding announcement.

Also, certain posters on both sides of the discussion, especially Refuge and V'Ger, need to watch it with the personal back and forth remarks.
