I'm curious...?

Okay...my take?

I loved BROKEN BOW..the pilot. I actually did. I thought it was a pretty good pilot. But about seven episodes after that I just started to drift away because. Why? Because I thought this show was going to show a raw crew, the first Starship to really go out there, and awesome things they came across...

But by episode seven they were just another "TREK" crew. You could have put them into the 24th century and they would have fit right in.

The only character that seemed to retain the feel from the first to episodes was TRIP. I saw later episodes where the character still had a twinkle in his eyes as to what was happening...

Then...I stopped watching...

Then I came back when Rene was a guest star and was totally disgusted with how the episode ripped off another episode's plot (Cant even remember..but I know I was disgusted)

Then I came back when Brent Spiner came on and was totally not happy with their augement arc/klingon explanation gobbedy-goop.

I tried to watch the XINDI arc but couldn't. It just defied any ability to fit that into the TREK timeline that came after that storyline.

Then I returned for the last three episodes. The second to last episode, again I can't even remember now what it was about, but I remember liking it alot. And then we get to the last episode...and...while I don't hate it as so many do? I still think it was so-so.

The series, all in all, was so-so. It promised freshness, it delievered blah. Which was a shame since I really did like Broken Bow or whatever it was...such potential!!!
