Anakin is # 1 quadrillion, just above you know who at absolute last place!

That list has an oddly specific subject matter, yet a sample so large as to be virtually worthless. They couldn't have gone for the top ten or twenty so that the choices carried a little more weight?

And I hate lists where you have to flip over to a new page for each individual entry. I'm not flipping through 100 pages. Just bunch them into groups of ten to twenty or put the whole list on one page. I suspect it has something to do with getting more page views and/or ad revenue, most likely.

That being said, at least it has some cool pics.

Jar Jar should be number one just to fuck with the fans.

Grevious is listed at 37, above HK-47 but below Rex from the Clone Wars cartoon.

Started at 100 but got to 99 and then skipped to 40. Oola only got 99...but she got a boob out.

Tarkin at 33...heresy! Ackbar at 28! Amidala 25, Wedge 24...This list makes baby Jedi cry.

Kyle Katarn at 22...should be lower purely because of how some sections of the fan base have made him the Chuck Norris of Star Wars.

I think the top 10 will be an all movie affair, pretty much Termis' list but not in that order. I'm going to see if I can guess the highest place EU character...I'm going to go for Revan from KOTOR. I think he'll come 13th, behind Boba Fett at 12 and unlucky Lando at 11th.

Too many random one-shot characters nobody actually cares about, no Quinlan Vos or Ulic Qel-Droma (so far), Cade Skywalker at only #84...

This list sucks.

Lists like this one are going to be extremely subjective, but that doesn't mean that they shouldn't be done, or that IGN's list is an 'epic fail'. Of the characters on IGN's list, there are quite a few that I had never heard of, and a few that I would have personally ranked higher (Jaina and Padme are two examples), but, as the saying goes, 'to each their own'. I'm very interested to see the rest of their list, particularly which character they ranked as #1 (for me, it's Palpatine).

There are plenty of other good ones, but those are the only ones I really care about.

Number one hundred: Dr. Evazan. This is why this list sucks. There are a handful of memorable characters in Star Wars. The rest are toys, set dressings and props.

And thanks to the list makers. I could not go to my grave without seeing a romantic looking painting of Wilford Brimley as he appeared in the throwaway Ewoks TV movie.
