If you were starting a band what names would you pick?

Brand new to topic:

The Syphilitic Monkeypox Boners - punk
Everything We'll Sing You've Heard - country
Unintentional Consequences - rock

I've always liked the name the actor Mark Strong had for the punk band he was in when he was young. They called it "Private Party" and they thought it would make a great joke for their 'in concert' posters - because no one would come since people would think it was a private party

The opposite of a band name suggested in The Commitments called Free Beer.

"What about Free Beer? They always pull in a big crowd".

I like the idea of trying to discourage people from coming to gigs though even if it means playing to an empty room.

"Those Fucking Shitheads."

Punk band of course.
Now I'm imagining something like the punk band in 1980 Heavy Metal singing "Those fucking shitheads, those fucking shitheads, those fucking shitheads" for 30 minutes while the band of a bass with a broken string, a patched drum set and a electric with permanent feedback thrash in the background. It ends with "WE'RE those fucking shitheads" as the band shamblolically ends playing. Think of them as the anti-Ramones.

I also think this is the most times I've ever written 'shitheads' in one post.

ThunderFace - Hard Rock
Aunt-Acids - Retro style rock, with a prerequisite being that they're all real Aunts playing together.

I dunno. Bands of family members can sound like this one

Didn't say any of them had to be related... ;)

Was inspired by the Nonnas movie, where the chefs are real grandmas, based on a real restauraunt concept.

Besides, there have been some very successful family fronted musicians. Beach Boys, BeeGees, von Trapp family (still performing generations later), just to name a few.
