if you could punch one celeb...

Jeremy Kyle, for those who don't know he is a chatshow host in the UK. His show makes Jerry Springer look upmarket!!!!!! (Well slight exaggeration) But I hate the way he exploits people going onto his show, his holier than thou attitude.

He also does have a face that needs to be slapped, or sledgehammred!!!

Karl Rove. Yes, he's a celebrity among his Circle of Evil. But I'd punch him with a sentence of life imprisonment and forfeiture of any and all monies he's made in the last eight years.

Hopefully his cellmate would be Dick Cheney.

Maybe all those people who dislike the idea of punching someone could choose which celeb they would like to have in a dunking tank?

I am Asian American

You don't say?

I really found Wang "pulling the racecard" all the time in blaming his career problems solely due to Hollywood racism than his inherent laziness got real old fast.
Irony, GWR by thy name. Remember this little gem for later, because it will come up again.

Please cite several examples of him blaming race for his lack of acting jobs. Since it happens so frequently it shouldn't be a problem. And how do you know that he's lazy?

Instead of "has been work" such as convention appearances and collecting "Star Trek: Voyager" residuals.
You mean that thing that almost all Star Trek actors do at one point or another? If you can make money at it and have some interaction with the fans, why knock it? And what does collecting residuals have to do with a job? He'd be getting those regardless.

That is what former Power Rangers do by getting regular paying jobs in the real world after their gig is over.
Power Rangers do not equal a 40+ year prime time franchise.

It ain't just you, Wang. Hollywood loves to employ mostly white people, which has been Hollywood's policy since the very beginning. So there are mostly white roles written for white actors. That is the system you signed up for, yet you act like Hollywood has a vendetta against you personally as an individual when there simply isn't a niche for Asian American male actors in that industry.

In all honesty folks, Wang should have considered himself fortunate that he was cast as an Asian American "token minority character" on a UPN show considering his limited acting experience under his belt. Seriously, he was hired to fill a PC token Asian American male character slot, rather than any casting agent seeing him for his unique gifts or acting talents. He played a supporting character on a television show, and really should get out of his delusion that there is a movie career like Colin Farrell around the corner.

How the fuck do you know why Wang was hired and that it wasn't based on his talent as an actor? Even if race was a deciding factor in who they sought out for the role, it's not like he's the only Asian actor in Southern California. He still has to compete for the role.

You calling anyone out for pulling the race card is hilarious. You're the World Poker Tour Race-Carding champion, and cry wolf about it constantly, thus diminishing real examples of racism against Asians. Everything you do revolves around race; you can hardly get through a post without mentioning it, and most of your threads specifically focus on it, though always for inexplicable or incorrect reasons.

Get over your bizarre stalker-like hatred of certain actors and actresses for ridiculous reasons. Garrett Wang, Lucy Liu, George Clooney; no one can follow your crazy logic.

Now, all that being said, if I had to punch one celebrity...

Tom Hanks. Everyone says, "Oh, Tom Hanks is so nice" and "That Tom Hanks is both a fine actor and a gentleman." Well, fuck you, Hanks, I'm on to your game.

;)

Miley Cyrus. Because she's fucking everywhere, and she's annoying, and she looks like an even crazier version of my ex, and I'm tired of not being able to just get the news and have to hear shit about how she's publically abstinent (like we need to know), and I just hate Hannah Montana.

No celebrity has ever done any harm to me, so I wouldn't punch anyone.

I wouldn't punch someone because I didn't like their acting or performance skills, neither because they have a different political view than me.

:techman:

Are you real or a figment of my twisted imagination?

I'm quite real, and don't worry, I wouldn't punch you either :rommie:

Please tell me you're a celebrity so I can add you to the list. :D

Nor you

Garrett Wang

I am Asian American, and I really found Wang "pulling the racecard" all the time in blaming his career problems solely due to Hollywood racism than his inherent laziness got real old fast. If there is no work for you in Hollywood beyond playing a parking valet in a feature film (like "Iron Man"), then go submit your resume at careerbuilder.com and get a real job, instead of "has been work" such as convention appearances and collecting "Star Trek: Voyager" residuals. That is what former Power Rangers do by getting regular paying jobs in the real world after their gig is over. You have in your ability to do the same like everyone else.

um, ok.

Pink. Ever since I first heard the song "So What" on the radio a couple of weeks ago, it's been stuck in my head. That's probably the reason I've had a headache for seven days now.

And Good Will Riker, I don't think I've ever heard Garrett Wang play the race card - and I've met him a couple of times now. Okay, he may have caught a break, and he may not be the most talented actor out there (I can't say for sure - I haven't seen him in anything other than Voyager, and he didn't have a whole lot to do on the show), but from what I do know, I don't think that his being Asian-American has anything to do with him not getting much acting work, and I don't believe that he thinks that's the reason.

Garrett Wang

Perfect place for a "everyone hates Asians" rant. Well done.

I wouldn't mind punching Bam Margera.

He will tell you guys what to kiss:

James Blunt :klingon:

(although I get the feeling he'd punch me first, what with his military background and all... :()

Jonathan Ross. I've always disliked the talentless goit, long before Sachsgate. He ruined the Film show, which Mark Kermode should have been handed.
