Oh, I definitely meant the whole ship in the latter part of my post - although it would, by necessity, contain more 'quarters' than an 'actual' starship would. You'd still want areas like engineering, the hangar deck, sickbay and the transporters, just to offer that part of the experience, but you could have a functional arboretum, a bowling alley, a pool, a convention center, all the amenities of a first-class hotel that could also be an integral part of the 'shipboard' experience. One compromise I'd make, though, is to put a bridge at the center of
every deck (maybe every other deck, for the interior height), so everyone could experience it without overcrowding or impossible waiting periods.

For the exterior, I think the 1701 Refit would probably be the best, but it could still use the concept of a different 'ship' for each internal deck, so patrons could have a choice.
