New topic. The one I always think of is Gavrilo Princip assassinating Franz Ferdinand. With two bullets he changed the whoie world and caused probably a billion deaths. And he was probably a fall guy for shadier characters. Thing is, if he'd been stopped, it may have happened anyway, there wee some very determined people bent on freeing Serbia. And THAT is an ugly topic in its own right so I'll stop there.
The corollary to Princip is WW1, and then advances in science and technology. Everything is shaped by everything else. That's oine thing all too apparent in this thread.
