If I could bring closure to Enterprise ... I would have it be a ship wide virus that would kill harm anyone that beams onto the ship. Also, would make it so the warp core was offline with no hope to repairs. Archer orders the ship to burn up in the sun and they drift into the sun to burn up.

The crew is watching the sun get bigger and they are on the bridge singing OLD MAN RIVER and JOHNNY BOY. It takes the crew 10 weeks before the ship is destroyed.

After the ship is destroyed Earth gets a note from the Vulcans and want to say we gave hummor a try we hope Enterprise could take that joke about the virus

If done correctly, "These Are The Voyages..." COULD have worked, but because Berman and Braga decided to make it a glorified TNG episode, they ruined that opportunity in a lot of fan's eyes, mine included.

I would rewrite the episode so that it's longer than just an hour, it'd be at least an hour and a half or the traditional two hour finale. Also, all TNG elements would be left out except for still having Jonathan Frakes portray Chef in the episode and then tie it in as having Chef's last name be Riker as an ancestor of Commander Riker (then it could be said that Commander Riker's cooking skills seen a couple times in TNG wasn't just because his father forced him into it, but because cooking was a family tradition too).

If you must have Marina Sirtis in it, I'd just make her a cameo as an Enterprise crewman because to have an ancestor of Troi on board as well would be stretching credibility, I think.

Also Trip would not die, some real resolution to his relationship with T'Pol would be seen and more development for Reed, Hoshi and Mayweather would have been seen.

The basic story of the episode was fine, but it needed some fleshing out, I think and just let it be an Enterprise episode and give the show and the actors that portrayed the characters the respect they deserved.

I think I have the right answer. If the movies have Spock, they should have brought in Kirk as an old Hologram or something.

^^Funny, I started a story that went almost just like that. It was a 'Part Two' to 'TATV' that finds Archer whisked away from his podium moments before he starts his speech by Daniels to the bridge of the pre-launch 1701-nil, where he briefly sees his future self, and we learn that the Temporal Cold War was about the Romulans postponing the Earth-Romulan War for a few decades until they could WIN it, which ultimately caused it to never happen and led to the Alpha Quadrant being conquered by the Dominion. So Archer has to redo 'Broken Bow' and a few other key events basically that end with the timeline changing each time until Archer finds himself in the middle of the Romulan War and ultimately has to sacrifice the ship. Eventually, we would find Riker and Troi on the U.S.S. Titan on their mercy mission to Romulus post-Nemesis, where they would be presented with the scorched dedication plaque of NX-01.

Maybe I should finish that?

Only none of no longer makes any sense since we're being told that time-travel creates alternate universe.
