I'll admit, it was rarely boring when Quark or Garak were around, and I love "Move Along Home" (which feels like an adapted TNG story blended with leftovers from a Doctor Who script they found on a sidewalk. I don't say that in a bad way because it's a refreshingly different one-off story. I also like The Prisoner's episode "The Girl Who Was Death" for the same reasons, it's a break from the formula that (for me) succeeded - but it's easy to see why others wouldn't like it...)
Quark and Garak are my DS9 favorites. Here they are at Quark's Bar together with my Voyager favorite!


As for "Move Along Home", I actually like that episode!
As for the longevity of NCIS, CSI and Law And Order SVU, I'm happy that those in charge when it comes to those series doesn't seem to suffer from that petty sort of greed which those in charge of Star Trek were.
