I have to say, the first episodes of Next Gen require a certain amount of love and perseverance...the whole series (for me) hots up when the Borg make an appearance.
Mind you, I'd watch them all again in a pinch.

On the same page I saw they had an interview with Avon. It's interesting that he said that Blake's 7 had been remade - as Firefly (Serenity). That's an interesting take on the whole idea.
Still, I want a new series and I will not rest until one is made.

I have to say... I started this thread in the middle (never a wise idea
) and guffawed at the stream of consciousness going on. Not JUST because I couldn't figure out how one got from time travel to Baptist wedding receptions... 
... but because every year I INSIST one of my friends bring her asparagus apetizer to Christmas.
Now, to be fair... to do this right one takes blanched FRESH young aspargus, wraps it in a slice of (crustless) white bread smeared with herbed cream cheese, then heats it under the broiler to make it toasty.
Trust me... its delicious!

They travel back to prehistoric Talaxia, where they find simian-like rodents dwelling in the caves. They would one day evolve into Talaxians. Neelix accidently leaves behind a leola root.
Voyager returns to the present to find Neelix and Kes gone and a Delta Quadrant ruled by a race of Talaxians that had been assimilated by a mutant leola root.
They travel back to prehistoric Talaxia, where they find simian-like rodents dwelling in the caves. They would one day evolve into Talaxians. Neelix accidently leaves behind a leola root.

JanewayRulez the taste of canned asparagus is oddly synonymous with the color, that pallid uric green. You can't get that taste even if you take fresh asparagus and boil it to pulp. I remember when I was a kid I thought of that taste as a mood that seemed to cast itself over certain tedious events and literature that was supposed to improve you.
I should add that the asparagus in white bread appetizer was ubiquitous some decades ago as an appetizer in this country and that there was no herbed cream cheese, rather the white bread was spread thickly with margarine.
Nowadays they wrap (fresh) asparagus in prosciutto which kind of upsets me. Leave asparagus alone!! I had an asparagus salad today, it had varying seeds and sesame oil on it, it was delicious.
