Re: If Klingons show up in Abramsverse films would you want ridges or
That's insane.
That's insane.
Yes!
Haha, dear Lord, no!
If anything, the ridges from TMP on would be the canon violation.I vote for ridges. It's the most easily recognizable look, and the new movie's continuity should go for that. No need to pander to the "canon violation!" crowd.
That would have been so cool, especially when Sisko and company think it perfectly normal. In retrospect, what I think they should have done in T&T is have Worf suddenly look like a 1960's Klingon...and have no one mention it, like he's looked like that the whole time.
One of the very few things I liked about the Kazon was during the episode "Initiations", they came off as a street gang. An interesting change for the Klingons might be to make them even more primitive, think hells angel biker gang, Los Angeles drug gangs, with a little Norwegian vikings thrown in. A ancient culture with warp drive.I recently had some thoughts on where to take the Klingons in the Abramsverse... I expect they'll create an entirely new look, maybe a different behaviour to the race too.
I'd actually do the opposite and make them more advanced. Constant harping on about superstitious nonsense and Kahless and honour and tradition got old real fast. One of the very few things I liked about the Kazon was during the episode "Initiations", they came off as a street gang. That's insane.
But that's what they look like : /It's insane to want Klingons who don't look like Mongolians on Halloween?

Both. Side by side. Just to piss off the hardcore continuity nerds and Enterprise haters.
That's insane.
