One could assume, that the Klingons had....

Abram's Trek does not tie into previously established canon. There's no need to justify the appearance of Klingons in a new film.

I don't give a rat's ass what Abrams does, because to me it is "Fake Trek." Vulcan now just a few minutes away? Handing off command to a freaking cadet? The Klingons might as well have Rice Krispie treats on their foreheads the next time around.

For me, TOS ends at "Undiscovered Country."

Well TOS is the motherland, the prime, do you think without TOS there wouldn't have be any renditions, I mean other Star Trek series and movies and off course there wouldn't be alternate universes so I think Star Trek 09 is like a homage, a child paying love and respect to it's mother universe and I think it is great and it didn't erase anything you have known from the Prime universe, the mother universe. They have wiped the slate clean in Star Trek 09. What do you think of that aspect and my post.

Klingons did not have ridges for three years at the beginning of Star Trek. Almost everyone who's ever heard of Klingons other than TOS fans expects them to have ridges of some kind. Of course they'll have ridges.

natural hairline
TNG style beards

I want ridged Klingons or both ridged and ridgeless ones (in that case, the ridged ones should be more prominent).
