If CUBA is such a great place why do so many people try to leave?

Micheal Moore made cuba to be this great medical utopia, In the BOND film die another day it's said that CUBAS health care is second to none. They all drive around in COOL looking antique automobiles and all the people there love worshiping this 80+ dude (so he's doing something right) so why are there so many people that risk there lives trying to come to america? I don't get it. Can someone explain this to me?

I guess you have to live there to really know why some people would want to leave. Everyone also thinks that America = more opporitunities.
