If Abrams redid Enterprise (possible ST XI spoilers)

So, we saw the reboot Abrams provided to Trek fans, what do you think he would do if given the opportunity to redo Enterprise? What are some hallmark Abrams moves? What problems would he fix? What new and exciting thing would he do?

Now, you see... I don't know if that would be the case. It's television and Lost doesn't exactly zip along. There would be more thought put into an overall story arc I expect. Future Guy would've been pre-planned, with an identity and a progression of shocking plot revelations about his motives, either by way of red herrings or clues hidden in plain sight.

^ Hah! Mr. Commodore64 mentioned pretty much the same thing -- that the folks who did Star Trek XI really like the lens flare effect.

Good question on pacing. I definitely think it'd be flashier with brighter colors and more modern looking. Although it's been a number of years now since Ent has been off the air.

Under JJ (oh, that sounded bad), I think Enterprise might be sexier, but the sex might be played out differently, too.

When I went home after watching the movie, I put an Enrerprise episode to watch, I wanted a comparison.
Not that it's easy to compare two so different things, the movie was an attack to senses and emotions, the series was much slower and had a more real life feeling.
I wouldn't want anyone to redo Enterprise for a long time, it's still quite new and I love it as it is. Could it have been made to look more "modern"? Maybe, many things could have been done better anyway.

Well, T'Pol already was like one of JJ's great ladies, Sydney Bristow, in more ways than one. A woman capable of amazing feats of strength, but also very emotionaly vulnerable (strange really for a Vulcan and a super-secret programmed to be badass spy!).

I'm not sure what more he could bring, series long arcs, more stylized sets ? I'm more or less happy with how Enterprise turned out, I suppose, if anything it needed more consistent writing!
