I want to see the Andorian of discovery!

According to David Mack's novel, he's from a race that's related to the Bolians.
Lieutenant Troke a Tulian, which is a cousin species of the Bolians

The USA is diverse enough and the budget is big enough to have actors from other nationalities reflecting Earth's diversity. If they can get an Englishman to come over and play a Frenchman in 1987, they can do a lot more in 2017 on a bigger budget.

As a person of color myself (Afro-Canadian), I have no problem with this, granted that said actors of color can act and hold their own with established actors.

As Canadian cities tend to be, well, cleaner than American ones, during one night's filming the camera crew had to suitably "distress" the street location where they were setting up, so they carefully scattered trash, put down some graffiti, etc. Then they broke for lunch.

When they came back, the crew found that helpful Canadian passersby had come by and cleaned the whole thing up on their own!

That might have been true decades ago, but budget cuts and the stupid amalgamation of Toronto by the Mike Harris administration have diminished that somewhat.

Star Trek: Discovery (TV Series)
Harry Judge... Gorch / Admiral Tellarite
- Episode #1.15 (2018) ... Admiral Tellarite
- Episode #1.14 (2018) ... Gorch
- Episode #1.11 (2018) ... Gorch

I was travelling in New Zealand when these episodes started airing, kept a picture file, and then never got back to the thread. So... Mirror Universe Gorch the Tellarite and his lookalike, prime universe Admiral Gorch, did indeed appear in Season One, along with several Mirror Universe Andorians (Shukar, another male and a female) and the prime universe's counterpart, Rear Admiral Shukar.

Love the DSC tweaks to the makeups. Huge tusks on the Mirror Tellarite - and cool new eyebrow tendrils for the Andorians. Note that some Andorians had higher-placed antennae (more like TOS and ST IV), matching Mudd's helmet seen in DSC.

Doctor gets divorced and leaves his young daughter on Earth to follow Kirk around the galaxy for 50 years. McCoy is a deadbeat dad.

Perhaps not. He never talked about it on the show, but in ST09 he said that his ex-wife "got the whole damn planet in the divorce". Maybe this includes custody of Joanna.

About as good as Mister Mot. :p

Do we know which characters actually let Mot do their hair? Picard can't be that hard to do. Geordi's style requires a T-square. I wanna say there were 2 or 3 barbers in that shop the one time we saw it.

We do know Mot was a gobby thing. Bolians are as likely to be known as the galaxy's yentas as they are barbers.

I know Worf didn't like the way Mot cut his hair, if "Schisms" is anything to go by...

Worf: "I would like my hair trimmed. Not like last time."
Mot: "Just a little off the top! I took way too much off last time. Klingon hair is so luxurious, it's easy to get carried away!"

Given that my hair is currently Worf TNG Season 5 length and probably just as thick as his, I probably wouldn't care too much for Mot as a barber either...

... wait a minute... I think we have the real reason why Worf grew a ponytail, if Mot's the only barber! :p

Or the incursion of Nero (2233) made him sterile so no Joanna....er yeah... right.
Trying to figure out why in enlightened 23rd century Human fathers still get a raw deal in divorce proceedings by unscrupulous lawyers.
