I Want to be on a Reality Show

Tonight over dinner, I was thinking about how I could use a change of scenery and feel like doing something crazy for a few months to a year.

Then it dawned on me, I should go be on one of those Reality TV shows!

What do you guys think?

I've never really watched reality tv since MTV's Real World. I caught the final episode of the first Survivor, but that's about it.

But I don't want to be on Survivor.

I was thinking the Amazing Race, or something like that. I've never seen the show, but I'm guessing you and your buddy just around the country or whatever and mug it up for the camera.

What do you guys think? And would you be on a reality show?

^ I would gladly be on Amazing Race. That's the cheapest possible way to see the world without having a 4 year commitment or the debilitating effects of syphilis.

I'd also love to be a contestant on "America's Got Talent" or "I Survived a Japanese Game Show".

J.

Go for it. I think Amazing Race is tougher than you are giving it credit for, but if you're physically fit and want to see the world, do it.

I would not be on a reality show, too shy, hate cameras, would always be off on my own away from everyone else.

My boyfriend tried out for Big Brother. Didn't expect to make it, but he said the try-out process was really interesting and he met some really crazy people there.

If they were going to be paying me mega bucks, and it was something tasteful that my family and friends could comfortably watch, then I would do it. Only of the money was guaranteed though, not something I had to win.

I went on a dating show once, because they were offering a fabulous holiday. I say go for it! :D

At this point, you can get on a show with pretty much any topic that interests you.

I myself lean towards the trashier ones so unless you're planning on going on The Girls Next Door, there's little chance of me getting to see you.

So, what you're telling me is that you want to see me on a trashy reality show.....I like the way you think. :p

I don't even care about the money really. I'm just bored and want to do something outrageous.

Basically, I don't want to have to eat crazy stuff, I'd probably try anything else though.

I want to be one of those skanks trying to do whatever the hell it is you do with Bret Michaels if you win (VD exchange?).

If I could go on a reality show, it would be either Survivor or The Amazing Race. I like the strategy aspects of it, and I'm not so far gone that I can't get in shape to handle the athleticism.

I'm currently working on becoming an outspoken gay Christian dwarf goat farmer with big tits in order to increase my odd of getting picked.

I've sometimes thought it would be fun to do Big Brother. In theory. If it wasn't for the moronic other contestants.

If I didn't have to hang around all day, it would be fun to do a shockingly bad Idol audition too. :D

Is there a reality show where you wake up to an alarm at 0-dark-30 AM, stumble into the bathroom, shower, brush your teeth, decide whether or not you need a shave, dress, gulp down a cup of coffee, then start a 90 minute commute to work where you spend the day listening to whiny undergrads and pompous chairpersons before beginning a 90 minute drive home to help kids with homework, do some laundry, and argue with the spouse about who missed their turn doing dinner?

Cause if there is, I'd be good at that.

I want to be on The Biggest Loser. I'm fat, but I have the willpower to lose weight whenever I want. I would just fall back on my Army training and smoke all those losers who whine and cry on the show. In the end I would win.

I still remember the TrekBBS Idol thread.

I still have your audition thread mp3s.

I still bear those mental scars.

...

We should totally do that thread again. :bolian:

I think it would be fun to audition just to experience the process. American Idol auditioned at my campus a few years ago and I regret not going just so that I could punch William Hung right in the nuts.

OK Zion, this is COMPLETELY off thread (and I apologize), but what's the idea with Stephanie from "Lazy Town" as your AV? I gotta know.
