I need to be spoiled....*SPOILERS ASSUMED*

I just found out that Davros makes an appearance in Season (or Series) 4....

I've been out of the DW loop for some time, as there are still episodes from teh 2nd series I need to catch up on.

I caught part of a clip on Youtube showing the revived Davros telling/berating the Doctor about having people die when they follow him...

I noticed the Doctor looking helpless at this information being thrown at him; I wanted to know what happens?

What does he--The Doctor--say? How does he feel about this information?

Been awhile, but as I recall, it's about this point that Martha, Sarah Jane, Jack, etc. are all transmatted to the dungeon and disarmed.

That said, the Doctor basically realizes that Davros is,in fact, correct...and this truth has been haunting the Doctor from that point all the way through the 3 specials that have thus far aired, which is why he doesn't have a regular companion @ present.

Since Series 4 aired 18 months ago, we don't really need spoiler tags on this thread. ;)

The scene we're talking about also includes a set of rapid-fire flashbacks showing the various people who have died while either working for or on behalf of the Doctor (exactly who these people are I'll leave unspoken if you're only working through Season 2). Let's just say it ties together Tennant's era quite nicely. And I don't think the Doctor actually says anything, because as noted above, Davros is right. (It's a nice bookend to the lone Dalek making the Ninth Doctor realize he's just as bad as they are in the "Dalek" episode of Season 1). .

Hey, some of us are out of the loop; but, I guess it may depend on the person...

I wanted to be safe than sorry....

Thanks, Alex....

I wasn't intending to criticize. ;) The spoiler rules for TrekBBS have a one-year statute of limitations from initial UK airdate for the need to use spoiler tags and the like, so after June or so of this year anything regarding Journey's End was fair game. (Not everyone plays by that rule, of course; guaranteed there will be plenty of unmasked spoilers after End of Time airs in the UK and US at Christmas and New Years, never mind the one-year moratorium).
