Juliet?? Oh come on, there are several other way hotter chicks on the show. Juliet is at the bottom of that ladder. Yeah, Jack's an interesting character.

I like Lost because of the characters, especially Sun, Jin, Claire, and Desmond.

I can't really go into details why I like Lost without spoiling someone who's only gotten to S3, but I can say: great characters, great acting, and the writers/producers have surprisingly good control over their wide-ranging, long-lasting, epic plotline. They keep doling out the mysteries while peppering the story with minor-league answers and clues to the major-league ones. Not only is the show definitely sci-fi (a big plus for me) but it doesn't seem to be just retreading old sci-fi tropes. And it has a wonderfully off-kilter geeky sense of humor that keeps the angst and soapy elements from overwhelming everything.

And I've also warmed up to Jack. The key is to understand that he's deliberately being written as sort of an aggravating, self-involved dope. But he's also well-meaning, determined and courageous. A great example of a very unexpected "hero" type.

Favorite chracters: Locke, Sawyer, Sayid, Miles and of course, Ben.

I love mysteries and this show is like a mystery taken to the nth degree. I like the various intriguing mysteries, the clever and satisfying explanations, the characters.
