Yo! I was at the bookstore tonight and they had the novelization for the new Transformers film. No, I did not buy it but

Optimus Prime does make it to the end (last page) Thank God, I'm glad they didn't kill him. That gag got old in the 80's

can some put that in spoiler code for me

Or it could be like the novelization of Terminator, X-Men, X-Men 2, to an extent Star Trek, Die Another Day where the ending of the book was changed to not spoil the end of the film.

Wait how is the StarTrek novelization ending different from the movie ending seemed the same to me.

^ Events were slightly changed (including the return of Archer's beagle). Novelizations are usually slightly different to avoid spoilers.

Not to mention that there being differences between the script the novelist is using and the script the production is using-- as well as the usual on the spot directorial changes that happen.

Yeah I thought the arc between Optimus and Megatron is very cool in the novelization...and then the ending. I wonder if this will be like the scene with Starscream taking off after the credits...those who have read know that I'm referring to the interesting epilogue in the novel.

I don't suppose you could put it in spoiler code for the people who haven't read the novel and want to know.

Frankly, Sir, all I want to know is if Soundwave speaks in the film/novel and if uses that bad ass voice from the 80's. If that part of my childhood remains in tact I can forgive most offensives. The fact that in the last film, Starscream's robot form looked somewhat like a giant metal turtle, for starters.

This is going to sound crazy but they seriously jeopradized my seeing the next movie when they killed Jazz. Jazz?! Come on!

I want to see Shockwave. Favorite Decepticon ever.
