I had the dreaded "Love" dream.

That's what I call them and I was wondering if anyone else ever has them? This isn't a sex dream. I don't think I can ever recall having one of those kinds of dreams, unless you could the dreams where I was raped as a sex dream. I got to wonder if the ole wet dream thing is even real or more myth.

The kind of dream I am talking about is where you fall in love with someone and they also love you and it feels so real and when you wake up it's like instant depression when you realize it wasn't real and your back to being lonely. Thing is I can't even recall many of the details of the dream except the kiss and how happy I felt. The emotions seem to last longer than the details. I even recall waking up muttering to myself saying "It was only a dream!" I know the past I have also done the thing where you try to go right back to sleep in hopes of going back into the dream only it never works. In fact when I tried it this time I got some sleep paraylis for my effort.

Falling in love dreams, plenty, no depression. All the rest sounds like some relationship therapy wouldn't be amiss.

It's funny I posted an In Love dream I had in this thread as soon as I'd woken up, it was very clear. But I can remember NOTHING of it now, I reread my post and nada. It's so weird to me that we can retain a dream clearly and then it evaporates shortly after? Why does this happen? I would think if we actually remember the darn thing when we are awake it would stick? Or is it just me lol.

Only ones I repeated to people a few times, and some odd ones from childhood. I retain them but by afternoon they are gone. That's what disturbed me, that I remembered them upon waking and then they left ! Maybe my brain just files them as useless and deletes but then how does one explain all the TOS trivia..

No I really doubt it. I'm not all that turned on by nudity. I mean it's okay but only just okay. My dreams are more about being just being in love with a woman. I think deep down I just want to be with someone who makes me feel happy. Part me could care less if we never had sex. I mean I get horny alot but not alot compared to the amout of time I just spend feeling lonely.

Not too many, but that's because I've stayed single most of my life. When I was younger, I had mostly flings with a few girls, and I never got physically intimate with any one of them. And I have yet to be in a relationship with another guy.

From time to time, I have romantic dreams about being with a random person, someone I know or a total stranger, but I don't place much importance on them.

The circle jerks and orgies, however ....
