I got promoted today!

Got the Customer Relations job i fought so hard for today! Extra 500 bucks a month and a leading voice in the decision making of my company!

Life feels a little better today.

Poppycock! You most certainly can get shelving of some sort. I think they even have shelving that attaches to the cubicle wall. If not small narrow risers on the desk. You can even keep crap underneath the riser with the books on top. You can easily lose the star wars figures.
I have a little Star Trek display at the office. Fuck That.

That happened to me at my last job. I had to move up to Administration, so I lost my huge office (which I shared with one person, but which they turned into office space for four people after I left) and got a cubicle. At least I got the high walls and lockable door that I asked for.
