Sometimes I feel kind of sad about such religious views...generally speaking, most people who feel this way didn't have a choice but to be born into a family or culture that thinks in such a way.

Might have something to do with the looking down on others and judging them while you do so. Preaching about Jesus, the Bible, etc while completely missing the forest for the trees and whatnot. Jesus wasn't exactly patting his 9mm when he was talking about doing unto others...
