As I understand it, Dorn went vegetarian a few years ago, that takes it toil on a person.
If you consider Dorn's build when we first saw him in Encounter at Farpoint (non-beefy Worf), and compare that to the way Dorn looked in the commercial, he not really that much slimmer.

The other night I was watching an episode of Larry King from 1994 with a few cast members of TNG and DS9 on it, as Dorn was talking about he was finally getting a part in a play with Marina Sirtis where he would finally get to kiss her. All that tension on camera and never anything out of it according to him!

That's funny, I would say he did age, bit I think he aged pretty well considering he's 60.
