My sentiments exactly, this is a replay of that week when the finales for Lost and Heroes happened within days of each other and I was gnawing my fingernails to the nub worrying my favorites would get kilt off...

For a film that is supposedly shooting in November, they sure have been able to keep a lid on real news. Star Trek XI news items from May-July 2007 contain little more info than the May-July 2006 articles.
Hopefully there will be some real news on Thursday. If not, based on Generations, Nemesis and the Star Wars prequels, a lot of details will start to leak out once shooting starts.

1:30-3:30, Pacific Time. It's not a Star Trek panel, per se. Paramount Pictures is hosting a presentation that focuses on several upcoming films, among which Star Trek is one. Indiana Jones is another, and Neil Gaiman's Stardust. Gaiman will be there along with Abrams. Likely this is when Abrams will make his announcments.
