Human Target: Season 2 on FOX - Discussion & Spoilers

Somebody needs to smack Ames in the eyes with a jar of cold cream.
I haven't seen that much eye makeup since Liz Taylor in Cleopatra.

Yeah, I don't like it. Janet Montgomery is a beautiful woman and the eye make up makes her look like a cheap skevey hooker.

I thought it was a fun episode, although I do agree that Ames marriage was really weird. I'm hoping that maybe it was a set up for something later in the season.

I doubt it. I bet that the original cut of the episode was a little too short and they added it for filler. There's just two epsiodes left so i don't see the point of doing something more with this.

Lauren German was hot.

Private investigator Harry returns when Chance is hired to protect a rival security agency owner's girlfriend. Meanwhile, two members of the team grow closer, and Ilsa goes on her first field mission.

Another new Human Target tonight.

I really enjoyed this one although it was a little too naive to believe Claypool who knows Ilsa won't seek revenge against her even from behind bars given the way the writers portrayed him.

And I'm loving the Ilsa/Chance romance and the chemistry is great. Too bad next week will probably be its final episode since it has been one of the most consistently entertaining shows this season.

I would bet he'd be back in season three...assuming there is one but there probably won't be.

That will bum me out. I like this show a lot.

I thought last night's episode was alot of fun.
I thought it was great when Chance realized that the others sent Harry. I completely forgot until that scene that Winston's first name is Laverne. I wonder where they'll go with the Chance/Ilsa relationship?

Claypool will be back in season three just like Armand Assante and Amy Acker came back in season two... oh, wait...

If there is a season three, they need to replace the season two showrunner.

I find Indira Varma exquisite.
I find Ilsa Pucci annoying as hell.

I think that sums it up well. Indira Varma is an absolutely beautiful woman. Ilsa Pucci is a nagging, annoying buzzkill who neuters the big three and makes Chance look especially stupid.

OTOH Ames seems quite underused, even though she's perfect for situations where you need a female team member who actually knows what she's doing, like Sophie and Parker do on Leverage. Hell, if the guys really took her under their wings she'd become a force to be reckoned with.

Argh. So...a heavy hint at cancellation in Fox's Super Bowl commercial last night? I mean the one where the principals from Fox shows are tossing a football around. House, Bones, Fringe...but no Lie To Me, and no Human Target.

It's not surprising, but I'm still awfully bummed...

The team continues their investigation into the death of Marshall Pucci and the mysterious woman in the photo with him, and what they discover may tear the team apart.

Season (series?) finale. If the show comes back, they seriously need to drop Matt Miller.

It was pretty good. I thought the ending was a little anti-climatic and the CIA story seemed like there is more to it--if there is another season maybe they will explore it more or maybe that was really all there was to it.

The Ilsa/Chance thing just does not work at all. It is a shame, because the episode, while rushed, was good, although the CIA team came across as chumps after their initial coolness in the park scene.

I also had to laugh at Chance on the rooftop telling Ilsa that killing people was not his way after having just killed four or five(presumably honest) CIA agents in the hotel room below.

All I could think of when Chance was telling Ilsa that she was the "strongest woman" he'd ever met, was to remember all the female guest stars in season one, many of whom seemed way stronger than Ilsa.

Sadly I think that'll be the last of Human Target, but unless it is going to get reworked again for a third season I am not that heartbroken to see it gone. It is a shame, because the premise works in a sort of 80's retro-way, its just the execution that is shoddy.

I'm probably not the first to say that if it comes back, it should be with the season 1 people in control again.
