How would you feel if they said they were going to be doing another Shatner as Kirk led movie?

Recently the Shat said of character possibly, "No. I think Kirk’s story is pretty well played out at this point."

Yet, wasn't it him lobbying to some degree to get on a J.J. Rebootrams film years ago?

maybe he's seen how PStew acted in the build up to ST:P (saying he was 100% done, never even considered coming back wasn't interested etc) then they pulled out al the stops to get him back and made it all about him and stuff he was interested in doing (so if someone came up with something like that for Shatner/Kirk in a new movie..like was supposed to happen in ST3) Also it gets news media reporting about his statements creating free promotion for him and his upcoming stuff (conventions, TWOK screenings)

Shatners bern rumoured to come back numerous times since Enterprise, including Reboot 3

he lobbied for it for years, last year he mentioned dealing technologies, interesting now he’s put the idea to bed
