Roseanne is invited to visit her bigliest fan, President Trump, at the White House. On her flight to Washington DC, her plane flies through some sort of strange storm that doesn't show up on radar and passes through a glowing, swirling eddy at its center. Bizarre colors whirl around her head. Is this some sort of temporal vortex, or did she take one too many Ambien to rest on the flight? Miraculously, the plane emerges from the storm intact, but it is badly damaged. The pilot heroically makes a crash landing on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, but perishes in the crushed cockpit. Alone and hurt, Roseanne emerges from the plane and looks around at the peaceful Washington DC landscape before her. Everything looks normal, so she decides to turn around and walk to the top of the steps to sit down and wait for her rescue. That's when she looks up and gasps in shock at the sight before her...

Disney let a show go? :guffaw:

They’ll hang on to the rights until the sun consumes the Earth and probably long after that.

They don't own the show, it's not their rights at all. Casey-Something company owns the show and wants to make money. Disney wants a spinoff because it was the highest rated cripted show this season.

If there's a Fox revival and an ABC spin off then both shows can duel it out. One with Roseanne and one without. Then they can both die a blessed death.

Where is this idea of a Fox show coming from? Oh right the delusional. There will be a spinoff if they can figure it out, probably on ABC. Fox can try to pick it up and there could be a bidding war. However there can't be a Roseanne spinoff where Roseanne leavings and moves to Washington DC to work for Trump or somehting. Roseanne Barr doesn't own the Roseanne Connor character. Just like Steven Cobert could use his Comedy Central character on his CBS show. (Even though he was the character and is owned by the same company.)

Fox can offer Roseanne a show, but it probably be on Fridays.

Ooh, ooh. Roseanne accidentally smokes marijuana thinking it's a cigarette. She takes one puff and is immediately arrested and thrown in prison for ten years, because the Trump appointed judge 'Has never met a good person who smokes marijuana'.

Since when is Roseanne black? You only go to jail for 15 years if you are black smoking pot. If you are white the judge doesn't want to wreck your life over a small mistake.

However smoking pot does cause school shootings.

They killed off Dan pre-reboot. I don't see anything wrong with killing Roseanne in the spin-off.

I prefer the overdose idea because it lets the writers continue the pain killer addiction storyline.

Pity Lucifier is cancelled and was on a different network.

Could have done a cross ever ep where Roseanne winds up in the care of Lucifer and Maze and subjected to a hell loop where trump is impeached as hilary clinton watches from a her home.

Roseanne, the show and the person, are done. Over. Kaput. Fini.

A retooling would only be an attempt to recoup some of the money already spent. If it didn't suck right off the bat, it would be on the edge of sucking. And probably commence the suckage soon into the season.

If I'm wrong, I'll say so. I ain't proud. :techman:

The bigger issue is ABC wanting to make sure Roseanne Barr does not financially benefit from the spin-off. I don't see how that's contractually possible unless Roseanne chooses to do so voluntarily to help the cast and crew keep their jobs.

Reminds me when Charlie Sheen said he’ll come back to 2.5 Men and rename the show, The Harpers. The show probably would have done well but Chuck Lorre Hayes him so much that he rejected the idea, no matter how rich he would become of it.

Yeah, driving boo-boo. She and Harris go on a road trip. Roseanne lets her drive. She causes accident. 2 episodes later it's all forgotten and Darlene has to get Dan to stop his eating binge because she's made up with David and his new girlfriend "Blue", as if none of them has aged a day since 1995.

You honestly think they care? They would only care about that if too many people spoke out.

He actually tweeted what was a 'bye bitch' moment to Roseanne and asked if he could get his reboot now?
