I'm a cancer survivor. Birthday's don't bother me anymore.
 
This thread reminds me of the old "a/s/l?" questions that were common on message boards and chat rooms back in the day.
 
After 5+ decades, all birthdays mean to me is that I've completed one more trip around the Sun.

Both my youngest cat and I will complete another trip this coming June. She, of course, will have made a lot fewer trips than I.

If I'd gone all that distance in a straight line, I still wouldn't have left the Solar System (according to some people on another forum who worked it out for me).
 
I am 58. My arthritis means my body feels that old but in every other way I feel younger.
