Burnham I'll assume has longer hair by the time Discovery shows up, and presumably she'll have developed her relationship with Book over that time period. How long of a period are we looking at? Months? Years?

I'm guessing this was a special event for VIPs? Sorry for the confusion, I really have not kept up to date (purposely avoiding spoilers until it started) with Season 3.

Burnham either has hair extensions or uses the same miracle grow technique that the Klingons used.

Hair doesn't grow from where Burnham had it to almost waist-length in one year.

 

I’m looking forward to Burnham with the longer hair. I think it’s a great look for her.

The Doctor used some sort of follicle stimulator to grow out Seven's hair. She went from bald to flowing blonde locks overnight.
