How Many Times Was Archer Wounded?

Cicero

This is a somewhat random question, but I found myself wondering. How many times was Archer wounded or tortured during the series?

At the moment, I can recall only Broken Bow (wounded) and The Andorian Incident (tortured), but I'm sure there were many more occasions.

Archer got smacked around a lot:
-- Dolim pummeled him in Azati Prime
-- I think he was beaten up in Shadows of P'Jem
-- He was smacked around by Shran's second in command (played by Suzie Plakson) in Cease Fire
-- Beaten up in The Communicator
-- The Ferengi zapped him with a weapon
-- Beaten in Canamar
-- Punched out in North Star
-- Dolim attacked him in Zero Hour
-- Tolaris attacked him in Fusion
-- Got into a fistfight with AJ Robinson in First Flight
-- He and Travis get a beating in Detained
-- Malik attacks Archer in Cold Station 12
-- Fights Vulcans in the Vulcan arc
-- Fights Shran in United

He got a can of whoop-ass opened on him quite a few times. However, he often gave as good as he got, so it's all good. :p

When my - Surak's - Katra inhabited Archer's body I found his resilience fascinating.
Truly a man's man.

The thing I was wondering is, did Archer ever actually knock anyone on their ass?

Because even though he talked a good game, I remember him getting knocked on his ass quite a bit, and I can't think of anytime that he wasn't on the receiving end of an ass-knocking.

I didn't realize it was so many. Thirty-seven is nearly half the episodes.
It includes things like getting shot, or being jabbed with pain sticks. I'm not sure if it was an intentional decision by the writers to make Archer different from Kirk, but it sure was funny at times.

He punched out the Vulcan monk, right? And held his own with Dolim in Zero Hour long enough to set up Dolim-go-boom.

Kirk gets roughed up quite often (at least once a season by Spock alone!) and has taken his share of wounds: stabbings, beatings, animal bites and the occasional lashing.

By the end of season 1, I remember joking that every Enterprise episode involved Archer getting captured/beaten up. Maybe it wasn't such an exaggeration...
