How many seasons do you think Fringe will last?

I watched the first 8 episodes, then got bored. Is it better now?
It's a lot better now. Like someone had said, the first half of the season was basically a prologue and had separate stories, but as the second half of the season started, the story started to really come out, and you can see where all those "separate" stories from the first half really fit in with everything else.

I just finished the first season and I have to say, man. What a ride. I love this show. It was a slow burner at first but the latter half of the season was almost pure gold - and that finale - THAT final shot - oh yes. Yes indeedy. :)

I hope it lasts as long as its creators deem necessary to tell their story.

Yeah, I just finished the first season as well, and I have to agree. First half was a little uneven, but pretty much everything after "Safe" was one hell of a ride. Can't wait to see where they take us next season, and I hope the show sticks around for four or five years.

I don't know how many seasons it will last, but at this point I hope it lasts 2 maybe 3 tops.
I think the story Fringe is telling right now can't be stretched too much without losing quality.

Anyway, I love Fringe so far and maybe Abrams, Orci and the rest will find a way to keep it good for many years.
We'll see.

Is she really? That suddenly makes me like her a lot less.

She's only met him once, though.

... and she reportedly hates being reminded of the connection.

I hope the show goes for 3-4 seasons and doesn't leave too many loose ends untied. The science is mostly nonsense, but it's entertaining nonsense, especially when Walter is involved.

Walter really holds the show together in the early-going. He's such an awesome character, and I was glad to see him start to get some depth as the season went on. Which imediately brings to mind two things... ;)
