I'm 19. I also live downtown Edmonton where you cant find a parking spot and go to school where parking is overly expensive and just as easy to bus to. I also work at the stadium and Rexall where parking is equally expensive, if not worse, and faster to get to via train anyways.I have none, i dont even have my drivers liscence.

I live in a small town (70,000ish population)
It's not too difficult. I live in a small town (70,000ish population), so my bike gets me where I need to be.
If you really lived in a small town there would be no shuttle bus going anywhere because it's simply not cost-effective to operate. And if one of my friends isn't going to the nearest large city when I need to, there's a shuttle bus that's not too expensive.
It sounds a little strange at first, but once you start biking you become pretty reluctant to go back to car ownership, in my experience. (I know a few other people with just a bike, and they've actually made decisions on where to live based on how bike-friendly places are. Hopefully I'll be able to continue using a bike and mass trans when I move away from here.)
I used to live so far out it technically wasnt part of the small town it was closest too. It was the bushy area in between small towns!I live in a small town (70,000ish population)
I grew up in a town of about 3,500 so you calling 70,000 a small town...maybe a small city.

So, you have one of the ones in better condition on the roadI have one, my '02 Chevy Cavalier. The odometer doesn't work, the motor is burned out on the driver's side window, and the muffler is held on by a wire coat hanger.![]()

Oh, and that plastic piece that you pull over the sunroof...that flew off when my friend tried to open the sunroof without pulling it back at about 75mph on the interstate in Des Moines.![]()
I've driven a 1954 Land Rover with a diesel engine that was way low on power and a frelled clutch so just getting the thing to move was an adventure. Oh and the tires were too big, so steering the thing on a more or less straight road was quite a bit of work. And don't get me started on parking the thing. No offense, but that's like saying you eat all types of food, except for meat.Basically I know how to drive almost any type of vehicle except stick :P
Eh, you try to drive an older vehicle. They are harder to drive than the new ones. The no power steering and no power breaks, I don't think a lot of kids these days could drive a car like that. Have you?
how old was it? and when did it blow?I have one, my '02 Chevy Cavalier. The odometer doesn't work, the motor is burned out on the driver's side window, and the muffler is held on by a wire coat hanger.
