I haven't watched Mercy but I plan to before I see Kate at the con.

Looking at photos of Kate much younger, like early 20's, I have to say she is FAR more beautiful as she ages.

And I bring more pictures starring my favorite of the Janeway do's the French twist, the first two are from Heroes and Demons and the last three are from Cathexis.

Now of course the famous Janeway pic, which IMO embodies the complete definition of her being sexy and I also believe it led to me becoming a J/C shipper.

^She was a beautiful woman with a voice of authority. She also had a no nonsense attitude and a devotion to her duty and crew that caused her to sacrifice her own wants and desires. I find those to be admirable traits in a person.

It's a "love it or hate it" sort of voice. I'm the sort that bought the Mosaic audiobook for my iPod just because her voice made me happy and put me to sleep. ...Or why I clicked every stupid dialog option for Flemeth in Dragon Age.

I'm with Jetfire on this one. Although, I must admit, her voice wasn't something I liked right off the bat, much as I fell for the character. It really sounded much nicer after she stopped trying to make it sound so squeaky. And it kicks ass when she's pissed.
