The deal with the jelly is:

It does seem that anytime Froot and I are posting in the same thread, it goes off topic with frightening rapidly.

So to keep THIS one on topic, here's another sexy Janeway picture. Ignore the presence of the bun. Look at the expression on her face.

OOOOOOOoooooo new avatar for Valeris!

(btw Valeris, the original Valeris is awesome.. "a lie?" "a choice.")

Maybe it is Fair Haven or maybe it's.. Janeway Goes Antiqueing.

I thought this one was more...Janeway-like. It's the confidence, the self-assuredness. The song that comes to mind when I think of Janeway is "Circus". "Well baby, I'm a put-on-a-show kind of girl. Don't like the backseat, gotta be first."

:D I'm glad I'm not the only one that feels that way! That's partly why I'm so excited for the upcoming Trek book Cast No Shadow.

You'd think she'd have better taste...

OMG I just looked that up.. James Swallow wrote the best Trek book I ever read (Terok Nor: Day of the Vipers). That sounds absolutely awesome. Though I hope it doesn't turn out that Valeris acted as she did because of some brainwashing, much more interesting that those were her deeply held beliefs.

Digging further I see that's where your sig line comes from?

Off to look up Circus now..

I agree. And, frankly, if it does happen to turn out that way, I think it takes away from the exchange she has with Spock near the beginning. As well as the fact that, based on the viewpoints and philosophies of people like Admiral Cartwright, it was logical to hold out and wait until the Federation was in a "more superior position".

That's the only place I've seen it, so I'll say yes (though I could be wrong).

Off to look up Circus now..

Renaissance Man. She's gesturing for the potato alien to come closer so she can win his confidence by showing him how to fix his whatever it was he was trying to fix.
